So here is my new car: Yes it’s a wagon, but it’s ok because it’s an all wheel drive, Subaru Outback. And of course we have roof mounted bike racks for it. Most importantly it’s very safe and a decent alternative to a gas guzzling SUV. Let me tell you a story about my new car.
Yesterday was our annual healthy pregnancy fair. (I’m a BirthNetwork coleader: www.birthnetwork.org) Well, I got to feeling pretty awful and left early with Isaac to go home. I really didn’t think I’d make it all the way home. I seriously had the thought to put something under me in case I had diarrhea. Well, I didn’t. But I did get a sudden intense need to vomit while going 40mph in a construction zone with no shoulder for me to pull off on. All I could do was grab my sweater. I swear I put it up to my mouth in time but to look at the inside of my car you wouldn’t know it. This stuff came out so fast that it sprayed out the sides of my sweater all over my dash, center console, steering wheel, me. There was a huge puddle between my legs. I won’t go into further detail. All I’ll say is that I’m never eating thai peanut sauce again. Or peanut butter for that matter.
Well, that new car smell is actually quite toxic so I’ve been trying to air it out and I even put a purifying essential oil diffuser in my car. It didn’t really work. But vomit sure has…….unfortunately!
